School Innovation Challenge
To promote the culture of Design Thinking and Innovation, UNICEF and Inqui-Lab foundation in collaboration with Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC), Govt. of Telangana, have conducted a School level Innovation Challenge, a one of its kind program that aims to promote 21st century skills and design thinking amongst students and teachers.
The objective of the School Innovation Challenge (SIC) is to inspire students to solve problems by using a simplified design thinking process as a method to innovate. Each participating team underwent an online, hands-on animated course on problem-solving via mobile (www.schoolinnovation.in) followed by a call for submission of ideas. 25 best ideas were selected and participated in an in person prototyping bootcamps. Student innovations were showcased on January 4th,2021 as part of the grand finale.

Through this innovation Challenge we could improve our Design Thinking Skills. we learnt the way we should think and work while Identifying a problem , Finding the root cause of it and Developing Innovative solutions for it and could apply it in our daily life.
B. Nagaraju
School Innovation Challenge gave an opportunity for our students to look for problems and think about solutions to solve these problems. Our students have participated in multiple programs like INSPIRE before, but the School Innovation Challenge was different and gave students an unique opportunity to identify problems and solutions on their own.
